Ball Valves

Ball Valve

• A hollow, perforated ball that pivots is used by a ball valve, a flow control device, to regulate the fluid that passes through it. When the ball's centre hole aligns with the flow inlet, it is said to be open.

• When the ball is rotated 90 degrees by the valve handle, the flow is stopped.

• In both onshore and offshore oil and gas production facilities, ball valves are frequently utilised as fluid shutdown valves. They are also utilised in furnace fuel gas feeding systems.

• Ball valves are made to regulate the flow of low-pressure liquids and high-pressure gases.
